"Fun"draiser Car Wash Offering
Overview:
The Valencia AutoSpa is pleased to offer out professional carwash establishment and name for community fundraising carwashes.
The AutoSpa will provide trained carwash employees needed to perform the driving prewash prepping and had mitting on the carwash conveyor.
The Community Fundraising Group will provide the personnel to perform the vacuuming and finish drying
Successful Carwash Guidelines:
The AutoSpa will provide you with 300 to 400 tickets. Tickets are to be sold by Fundraiser volunteers 6 to 8 weeks in advance. The 17.99 Super Deluxe Wash will be sold at a special price of $10.00. The Carwash ticket is good for only the night that your charity is signed up for, and only for that night (Please explain this when selling the tickets).
Most groups choose to sell between 300 and 400 tickets. There is however an AutoSpa requirement to sell at least 300 tickets. The reason for the 300 ticket requirement is to recover the minimum AutoSpa expenses of product and labor. The $900.00, or 300 ticket minimum, barley covers the costs of labor, water, shampoo, armor all, and carnauba wax expenses. Each group will keep the first $7.00 and reimburse the AutoSpa $3.00 for each carwash ticket sold. Listed below is a description of what and AutoSpa Super Deluxe carwash includes .

Most groups have averaged a near 100% sales rate. Any unsold tickets must be turned in along with a check for the total amount within two weeks after the event. Additionally, the Fundraiser group will be allowed to sell wash tickets on the event night to additional cars coming after 7:00 P.M. We normally close at this time, however many of our customers see the activity of automobiles and come in thinking we are still open. The greeters and ticket takers should please clarify that this is now a special fundraiser event and the proceeds go to the community group, and not the AutoSpa. A similar $3.00 fee will be paid to the AutoSpa for these additional washes purchased on the night of your event. Most groups net approximately $2,500.00 from the carwash sales only.
Earning Additional Funds:
Included with your tickets will be an additional opportunity to assist your group in raising money by encouraging each person buying a ticket to redeem the attached coupon when purchasing a regularly priced $17.99 Super Deluxe Car Wash within 30 days. A rebate of $5.00 will be given to your group for each one redeemed. The $5.00 offering will be valid from the day after the event until 30 days after the date of the carwash, thus providing a redemption opportunity to each and every one of your ticket purchasers for up to 1 month after your fundraiser. Your group could earn extra dollars if this is properly emphasized by your ticket sellers.
Some groups also have earned raised additional funds through the sales of hamburgers, etc., or a bake sale of home baked items to your customers. Please notify us if you intend to do so.
Volunteers Required:
A minimum of 50 people not including Team Leaders. Due to insurance restrictions, youths less than 14 years of age are not permitted.
